Meet AJ Crisafulli, a member of our team at Bucks Dog Training. AJ began his dog training journey in 2019 at Hanlon’s K9, enrolling in the Master Trainers Course. AJ worked in obedience, behavior modification, decoying/protection, scent work and service dog work. AJ started at Buck’s Dog Training of Central NJ in 2024. He is a lifelong dog owner and animal connoisseur, most often seen working with his West Highland White Terrier, Ollie. Together, they have achieved the service dog title, BCAT title and AKC CGCA Community Canine title.

Together, they have achieved the service dog title and AKC Canine Good Citizen title.
AJ was inspired to help animals from a young age. Whether it was helping his own reactive dog, Mindy get through her struggles; or helping a deer that was hit by a car. Even helping a shark in need while lifeguarding. He spent ten years in ocean rescue as a Captain. AJ enjoys surfing, wildlife photography and hiking to connect with wildlife. AJ has also spent time working with aquariums and marine life. Throughout his life he has owned quite a few dogs as well as fish, birds, reptiles, rodents, you name it! AJ also graduated college from Kean University and Ocean County College.

He takes the time to not skip steps and build the proper foundation to build a brighter future. AJ greatest joy comes from seeing the Relationship between the handler and dog grow and grow.
